The Fairy Hobmother

It hasn’t been the easiest of months in our household.  My son’s difficulties and my daughters moods have made things rather tense in our household.  Trying to deal with their needs and a husband who works long hours has made me a little bit tired and grumpy.  And on top of this, we now have colds!

So you can imagine what a welcome surprise it was to receive an email from the Fairy Hobmother thanking me for my blog and offering me some Amazon vouchers in return for a mention of the lovely Appliances Online.  How could I resist such an appreciative email!

For those of you who have not heard about the Fairy Hobmother before, the Fairy Hobmother likes to sprinkle joy around the blogosphere by visiting blogs and leaving gifts as an appreciation of the work we do.   To accept our gift all we have to do is mention appliances online.

And if you are wondering, Appliances Online is an online kitchen appliance retailer which is well worth a look particularly if, like me, one of your appliances is falling apart.  No joke but my 20 year old fridge is held together by plasters; it really is time for a new one so I will definitely be checking out the Fairy Hobmother’s website.

If you would like a chance of receiving a visit from the Fairy Hobmother, all you have to do is comment on this blog post and who knows, you may be next.

  1. Oh…what an awesome surprise! I’d love a visit from the Fairy Hobmother!

  2. Brilliant, happy for you, you deserve a treat. Funnily enough, I’m struggling with the blogging bit and only just managing to read others and leave comments haphazardly! No time to do it all :( Maybe a nice new washing machine would give me a bit of time back – our current one eats holes in my clothes and leaves the white wash looking dirtier than when it went in!! :)

  3. I must confess I never heard of her before, but she made the right decision to visit you.
Talking of appliances, the best purchase I made is the Panasonic breadmaker. It bakes very tasty bread, even my son, who is a very fussy eater, loves what I bake.

Hi Galina; I’m with you on the Panasonic breadmaker. We bought one a while back and the bread it bakes is far surperior than than the stuff in the shops. Glad to hear your son loves what you cook from it too; my daughter loves the fruitbread. Deb x
